Choosing Your Nappies

When choosing your nappies there are many factors that you should take into consideration. These include, how many times a week you want to wash, how you are going to dry your nappies, if your child will be looked after by someone else occasionally or on a regular basis and the reasons for using cloth nappies (environmental or financial).

As a general guide you will need between 14 and 20 nappies and 3 to 6 outer pants (of each size). If you want to wash your nappies every other day you will need 3 days worth of nappies. Approximately 18 nappies and 4 or 5 covers. You will need to wash more often for a newborn baby and may need slightly less for an older child. We understand that not everyone has the same needs and will be happy to help in anyway we can. Personally we have found that it is best to have a few different types of nappy to cover for different situations. Slimmer fitting nappies for the day and more absorbent nappies for night times.
